Children’s Centre Thunder Bay works together with families, caregivers and a community of partners to make a real difference in the quality of life of children and youth.
We are an accredited, not-for-profit organization providing treatment and support services for children and youth, from birth to 18 years, who are experiencing behavioural, emotional, developmental or social difficulties.
Our services build improved quality of life including individual well-being and functioning within families, schools and the community. Our approach to service is collaborative and offered in safe and respectful environments.
Children's Centre Thunder Bay employs 150 professionals with expertise in fields such as social work, psychology, child and youth work, early childhood education, speech and language, developmental services and nursing.
As a team, we share common organizational values and work together with youth, caregivers, parents, family members, service providers, and other community partners to deliver services that best meet individual client needs. Where required, support is available for parents to help them develop knowledge-based coping skills and a culture of understanding in the home.
