Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Program

The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Program provides services to children/youth and families in the City and District of Thunder Bay. The goal of the FASD Program is to provide family centred services for children and youth with a FASD diagnosis, or suspected diagnosis, and their families through direct involvement, system navigation and community capacity building. The FASD program is designed to respond to the needs of the child or youth and their family, and then support all those involved using a common approach from a FASD framework.

The FASD program also works closely with community groups, organizations and service providers to build their capacity to work from an FASD frame of reference. This is accomplished through workshops, presentations, program consultations, and community projects.
